The Devon Vintage Car Club was formed with the aim of “bringing together persons interested in all types of old transport with the object of restoring, preserving and using the same by means of displays and rallies and in the organization thereof”.
We have, over the years, developed into the friendliest group you could meet and widened our aims to include raising funds for charity as well as having a good time ourselves.
All through the year we organise regular social events which include:
Road Runs, usually on a Sunday morning ending with Sunday Lunch at a hostelry,
Barbeques, only in the summer, but great fun!
Skittles Matches, in the winter months against other clubs, and we are improving!
The members of the Devon Vintage Car Club have a great wealth of knowledge, skills and expertise in all aspects of the care and maintenance of old vehicles and are only too pleased to share that experience with any interested listener.
Membership is not confined to owners of old vehicles but we actively encourage anyone who is interested in old transport generally. Not having an old vehicle does not stop members from attending any of the social events, including the Road Runs.
